A ONE ON ONE WITH FRANCIS LANS

”I find no pleasure in them”

A time is coming when your strength will fail and the very things you found most desirable will no longer give you pleasure. That’s why the Bible admonishes us to. “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you say, “I find no pleasure in them”(Ecclesiastes 12:1). How are you spending your youth? Are you using your gifts for God? As you ponder on these questions, permit me to introduce you to someone:

Meet Francis Lansana, with the stage name of Francis lans. He is a young man who has a heart for God. He is spending his youth serving God with his voice. He recently released a new single called NORMALIZE THIS. This song is a spiritual banger, great lyrics, and dope sound. Your musical career, how did it all start?

“ Music is something I love. I started when I was in high school but it was mainly rap battles and stuffs like that. It was just for fun, nothing really serious.

For my graduation ceremony, I wanted to do a song but the people involved were not really into it so I ended up not doing it. During the summer of 2014, I decided to take this music of a thing really seriously. I wrote a lot of songs which were mostly secular songs then I went to a studio called sky high music to record. The producer was impressed and I got signed to their label. In 2016, I was to do a song with one lady. During one of our studio sessions, she told me that she feels we should do gospel instead. I told her that I would think about it because I have really gone far into secular rap. I even have a record label and if I switch I would have to pay for the songs and things like that. Nevertheless, I took my time and thought about it. I answered the call!

So in summer 2016, I switched to gospel and it’s the best decision ever. We started a group called THE LIGHT but due to some reasons we later dissolved the group in 2017. That same year I started singing solo, I released two singles, and to God be the glory I have been consistent. A few months ago I released my first gospel compilation(an EP) called SONGS OF PRAISES with six tracks.”

How did the collaboration with Jah COFAP came about?

“I am a huge fan of COFAP. Back then in high school, I would listen to his songs a lot. He is someone I admire! He was ministering at the praise service at the Accord city and I was led to do a collaboration with him. Some weeks later, my producer sent me a beat and as I was listening to it the first verse of the song just dropped. I started writing and there was a flow. I felt connected and knew COFAP would be the right guy to collaborate with. I gave him a call explaining everything to him and he agreed. There was no back and forth!”

Who are you producers?

“I work with several producers but my main producers are MOK, GSTAR RECORD, and KELBEAT.

This particular song NORMALIZE THIS was produced by Kelvin of Kelbeats and the recording and mastering was done by Gstar Records(GSmusic)”

About the song

“With all that is going on, it is paramount to praise God. Our praises to Him should not be conditional, no matter the challenges let us normalize praising God.”

Final words

“I just want to encourage the readers to listen to this song. God has a message for you. During this pandemic, a lot of people are afraid and that’s not what we have been called to do. we are called to live in faith and not in fear. No matter the challenge, praise God. His love for you is endless, those challenges are just a way for you to experience a higher dimension of him. That being said, NORMALIZE PRAISING GOD!

It is my prayer that as you listen to the song, you will see the beauty in praising God. Please feel free to share the song too. This is the link to the song https://audiomack.com/francis-lans/song/francis-lans-normalise-this
