THE VALUE ADDED LIFE

RACHEAL’S STORY

My dad lost his job when I was in primary school. That took a turn on us as a family, honestly, it was a difficult phase. As a child, you go to school with no lunchbox and there you are watching the other kids eat. It got worse to the point we had no water to drink. The thing that kept us going was our faith. My dad would say “as long as there is God, this phase will pass.” Funnily enough, people didn’t know what we were passing through, it wasn’t written on our faces! In school, we didn’t stay for extra classes-hunger won’t let us. We had this Ghanaian teacher called uncle Joe(rip), he invested his time on us. He would give us extra lessons. What a phase it was, to God be the glory it passed and God ushered us into a season of abundance.

Oluwaseun Racheal Opeoluwaseun is the 2nd born among 5 children. She’s from Ogun state, Nigeria. She attended fountain nursery and primary school then moved to Iganmode grammar school to complete her secondary school education. She’s a graduate from Osun state university with honors in Accounting. In 2017 she traveled to Cyprus to pursue her master’s degree in international economics and finances and graduated in 2019. She’s currently doing her ACCA to become a certified chartered accountant.she’s a great singer(, one who doesn’t joke with the things of God), an entrepreneur, a caterer, and the wife of Opeoluwaseun Ojekemi omoileri( read the story of Mr ope here…https://mickeygblogs.com/the-promised-child/)

The Holy Spirit is my inspiration. In all I do, I make sure to involve him.

FUN FACT: My parents attended the same secondary school. They both played the role of Joseph and mary without knowing that they would end up together.

LIFE BEFORE MARRIAGE

I won’t say life before marriage was boring. Know why? I made sure to maximizes my singlehood. After my undergraduate, I applied for jobs but didn’t get any. I told myself that I won’t sit at home and do nothing. I decided to volunteer at MOLD AFRICA. Mold Africa is an NGO that mentors youths, kids, and women. I only spent three months working with them but it was an experience I don’t regret having. I learned a lot from working with young people. These were boys and girls who had seen hell. Some of them were bullied and others were abused but the sad thing is that they couldn’t talk about it with there parents. That was an eye-opener for me.

Enjoy your singlehood. Do your best to impact as many lives as possible. Read books, develop a relationship with the holy spirit, invest in yourself and most importantly add value to your life.

Apart from Mold Africa, I made sure I gained skills. I ran a clothing business, I bake, I do hair and I cook. Everything I know how to do now I invested my time and energy in it. I didn’t just wake up one morning and whola! I’m good. During my service years, I told myself that the year am serving will not be wasted. I was posted to the north and my time there was awesome. I went open-minded, ready to learn new dishes, language, and about the people. As a single person, don’t sit and wait for someone to come to sweep you off your feet. Work on yourself, build character, be a value-added person! carry yourself with grace even if you don’t have a dim in your pocket.the way we act, talk, and behave commands respect.

PEOPLE WHO HAVE IMPACTED MY LIFE

Academically I would say uncle Joe(RIP) played a vital role in my life. He taught me from primary school all the way through secondary school. The strength of my parents in the face of challenges is one that motivates me. They made sure to give us the best and brought us up with integrity. Temi, my husband has also impacted my life. He pushes me to be the best in all I do. Books, I love books! The books have read also impacted my life a great deal. Books like Understanding Your Potentials by Myles Munroe, Gifted Hands by Ben Carson, Good Morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn, etc.

SOME LIFE LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT

  • A man with God is a majority
  • If you set your mind to do it, you can achieve it.
  • The only friend you have is the Holy Spirit(no matter how they promise to stay, they would eventually leave one day. they are human, never forget that)
  • Apart from the Holy Spirit, your family will always be there for you.
  • If you dream it, pursue it and you would get it.
  • Learn how to understand your emotions.sometimes you let them flow and other times you cup them.
  • Communicate! If something is on your mind talk about it instead of allowing it to eat you up inside, that’s how depression starts.
  • Learn how to handle situations.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME “CSTALWART CONSULTANCY

Like I mentioned earlier, invest in yourself!

Investing in oneself mentally, spiritually, and all aspects of your life enable you to bring something to the table in any relationship. When we started dating,we rubbed minds together, coming up with different business ides. One day he shared this idea with me and asked for a name. I was laying on my bed thinking then I was led to go open the dictionary. As I flipped the pages of this big dictionary my eyes fell on STALWART which meant STRENGHT. I gave him the name and he accepted it. (read about cstalwart consultancy here…https://mickeygblogs.com/the-promised-child/

life is full of ups and downs, the ability to sail through depends on the encounter you’ve had with Christ.

Initially, I wanted to learn makeup but later decided to learn baking.something that I could use in my home regardless of the occupation of my husband. I invested my time into learning how to bake cakes and I started. My first client was my sister, then my cousin and before I knew it I started having calls. In 2017 I came down to Cyprus for my masters. I had expectations of getting a job but I couldn’t get any. However, after a while, I got one at a bakery firm. I was so excited. I got there, showed them my work, and I guess they saw me as a threat. My hopes to learn from them didn’t materialize instead all I did was do dishes. At a point, I was asked to stop working. That was that! Nevertheless, for my husband’s birthday, I decided to bake a cake for him and took it to church. The few people that tasted it liked it and that’s how we started getting orders.

As someone who is introverted, one of the challenges I faced was networking. I find it very difficult to walk up to someone and advertise my business. I didn’t even have an IG page back then. God be the glory I’m improving and growing. Dealing with people too especially in my type of business is not easy. Some certain people will want a cake and refuse to pay for its worth. Some will talk rudely but still, I do my best to interact with them professionally. It takes the grace of God.

DEALING WITH DISCOURAGEMENT

I made mention earlier that when you set your mind to do something, you can achieve it. The devil comes with thoughts of fear to make you feel discouraged. Your mind is the battleground so focus it on Christ. I am a very emotional person, when am faced with something bigger than me I run to my father and cry. Sometimes I can’t even pray. All I do is pour my heart out to Him and His peace will just overwhelm me. At times I talked to my sister or mum about my feelings.

So when discourage go to God, He is your father. Talk also to close family and friend

FINAL WORDS

HOLD ON TO GOD AND TRUST HIM.NO MATTER HOW TOUGH IT GETS,FOLLOW HIM. DESIRE INTIMACY WITH HIM. HE IS WRITING YOUR STORY!
